We have just bought a Rhinomax Scorpion hybrid and completed our shake down at Pt Elliott.  This unit is all we hoped it would be.  Compact, easy to set up and pack up.  Due to the friendliness and knowledge of both  Anita and Mike, the purchase and decisions made were able to be done without pressure or rush.  Thank you

Dropped in to get a few minor things sorted with our Rhinomax Discovery before we headed up the Oonadatta track. Mike and Anita were super helpful - thanks guys! And great to get some quality camping gear to boot. Can't wait to try out the new coffee ☕️ maker in the morning. Great shop, great support.

Recently purchased a Rhinomax Discovery through Mike and Anita. We found them both professional and very helpful. They have been very prompt in responding to any questions and concerns we had through the purchase process. They have a very broad selection of accessories to enhance the off-road experience. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

We bought our Stockman 'Kwik Kampa 2' Pod Trailer in May 2016 from Mike & Anita Pavey of The Dirt Camper Trailer Sales & Hire. We are now on Day 5 of our trip up north & couldn't be happier with our pod at this stage. We found Mike to be very helpful and knowledgeable & he set us up for our adventure. 5 stars!

At last! An outdoor store where the owners have been there, done that and have the equipment so you can too!!. Really friendly. Really helpful. Good quality gear that you can rely on out bush.

Big thanks to Mike and Anita Pavey at The Dirt 4WD shop for selling us our Tracktrailer Weekend Mate.  Although we live in North Queensland at the other end of Australia to where we were purchasing from, Mike proved to be the most helpful, knowledgeable and patient man in the business.  He could not do enough to make sure our purchase went smoothly and that we were happy with our trailer.  I would certainly buy from him again, and still buy parts through his shop.  Highly recommended as the man to go to.

After a couple of indecisive years looking for a camper trailer, I finally purchased a Kwik Kampa 2 from Mike and Anita at The Dirt, Mount Barker - extremely helpful and lovely people (needless to say patient as well!)

After years of travelling with a go anywhere Landcruiser and a lovely but large, bulky family size camper, I found myself by choice with a new baby Suzuki Grand Vitara 3 door, but not much choice in what I was able to tow.

I absolutely love my car and wasn’t prepared to “go bigger” just so I could go away, and so hired a Kwik Kampa 2  to try it out. I was really impressed with it and custom ordered one in September 2015.  It’s great, use it often and so far has easily gone everywhere my little Suzuki has taken it ... it’s lightweight, easy to tow, and really easy for one person to set up ... often the envy of my fellow campers!

Mike and Anita have always been very helpful both before and after purchasing the trailer, & their knowledge & service is excellent. Thanks heaps for getting me moving!

After 4 - 5 years of research, owning a large 4wd camper trailer and hiring a 4wd hard top camper last year we finally hired the Pod Trailer camper from the dirt for an Easter run. It was brilliant, so light weight and easy to use, in comparison to the other systems. So we ordered a custom fit out from the Dirt and have enjoyed it for about 10 months now. The great thing about the POD trailers is you can order them as you need and for ours we wanted an empty trailer for our gear with 4wd set up, water tank, tool box, surf racks and 4wd hitch.

We sleep in the station wagon and carry all the gear, including the kids tents and surfing equipment, in the trailer. But if you like canvas campers then that system is also excellent having tested it, but not what we wanted, hence the beauty of lots of options.

I can drive at 110km/hr, overtake, go into heavy 4wd tracks and my Landcruiser pulls it through easily. Other trailers were too big and too heavy for comfort. When we get to the camp site we unhitch and then can pull the trailer around in the dirt with ease. If we need to we just pull it around and back onto the car and we are away again.

Mike and Anita are extremely helpful and have great follow up support.

In my opinion when driving on the road or off the beaten track you really have to consider the bulk and weight of the camper or van you are pulling. They all look so impressive in the show room but the reality is a massive beast that is not realistic when traveling; the POD trailers are brilliant as they are so nibble and light weight, I can't say enough good things about them.

From our first meeting, Mike and Anita could not have been more helpful. They went out of their way to help us get our new roof top camper and helped us to sell our old one. We highly recommend that if you want anything 4WD, that you come and visit these guys at Mt Barker at "The Dirt 4WD". Terrific people to deal with. Great service!!!!

Good old fashioned honest advice and support from Mike and Anita. Check out their range of affordable off road products available from Mount Barker, SA. Mike and Anita are Aussies "having a go" in business and are friendly and easy to have a chat with. My wife and I took delivery of a camper trailer from them in June 2014 which we returned to Darwin with. Anita is also very good with her photographic work - check out her wall mounted shots in the showroom. Their business is located in a lovely Australian native bush setting with mature trees and easy parking - so get out there and go have a look at their showroom and the wonderful Aussie made products on offer!
